The History Of Rhodes To Health Chiropractic
When I was growing up I always knew that I wanted to be in the healthcare field. It was not a far stretch for me. See, I grew up with eight brothers and six sisters. Four of those sisters are nurses. My mother and my aunts were also nurses. So there is a history of taking care of people in my family. When I finished college I followed the steps of my father-in-law, Dr. Dean Moran. He practiced as a chiropractor in Effingham since 1953. He loved helping people get back on their feet and leading healthier lives. He encouraged me to follow my dream. I did! I graduated Logan College of Chiropractic in December 2000. I have practiced in the Effingham area since graduation. My wife Becky and I have been married since 1990. We have two children, Michelle and Robert (Bo). We have three grandchildren, Tristen, Robert, and Skylar. We spend our time with family as much as possible and that makes life fun. When I was working during college I would have aches and pains from lifting, bending and twisting. When I would get adjusted I would feel like I was given a new lease on life. Since college I have learned to take better care of myself. I drink more water; eat more fruits and vegetables and exercise more than ever. I am doing what is right for my body and I encourage my patients to make healthier choices each day. I appreciate every one of my patients not only for allowing me to help them and their family on their journey toward optimal health but for what they have taught me about family, friends and community spirit. Thank you and God Bless!!! Dr. Paul Rhodes |
